Preparing for the playoffs!

I'm in the playoffs! That feels amazing, my first year, I'm so excited! Also very nervous, the competition is tough and every choice will matter now. I can't afford to choose the wrong player. Obviously on this important week there will be a lot of injuries for my players. Robinson is out for the season, so I traded him for Blount who then turns out to not be practicing. It is unclear if there's an injury. It looks like I have to find another running back. Anderson also missed a practice and has had limited practices because of his ankle, but I don't think it's enough to hold him back on Sunday. Olsen also has an injury but it's probably not anything that's going to affect Olsen's game. The same with Lafell and Edelman, there is nothing to indicate that they would miss the game.

The Eagles are back as my defense, since Rams were facing a division (and possibly conference) leading Cardinals and the Eagles are facing the Cowboys that they faced a few weeks back, with pretty good result.

My biggest decisions this week will be which running back I should pick up, which wide receiver I should start and, believe it or not, which quarterback. I know, why would I think about starting Eli? Well consider this, last time the Giants faced Redskins he made 32 points. And the Redskins defense is not doing overly well. Brady on the other hand didn't have a great first week against the Dolphins, scoring only about ten points, even though the Patriots have pulled themselves together since.

Another question for this week is the Panthers players. Newton is injured after a car accident, so Derek Anderson will take his place. That might affect how well Benjamin and Olsen will do. There aren't really any better players free to pick up right now so I will just hope that this won't result in lower points for them. Will be an exciting week!

Preparing for week 14

Well last week was a bit of a disappointment for most of my players, but Anderson managed to pull us through. It will be interesting for the Broncos when Hillman and Ball is back, since Anderson has performed so well.

Now to this week. I have made some adjustments in the team. Sanu is not getting enough balls now that Green is back and performing well, so I decided to put him on the bench, and I brought in Lafell from Patriots to take his place. He is very uneven, but he's managed to find the end zone quite a few times this season so I'm hoping he will do it again on Sunday. Right now he's questionable, but I don't think there's any danger there, but I will keep my eye on him.

The other change I made is pick up Allen from Colts. He's been injured and this should be his first game back. He should produce some good points. Olsen is injured so he's on the bench, and I also have Fleener in case Allen wouldn't play.

I'm still deciding on what defense to play. Eagles have done very well this season but they are up against the Seahawks, which doesn't seem very favorable. Patriots haven't been as good but Chandler Jones might return on Sunday and give them an extra boost against the chargers. I'll have to think about that until tomorrow.

Preparing for week 12

Two of my players are on bye this week, Benjamin and Olsen. It's too bad, because Bejamin is one of my best players, and I'm not sure who should take his place. I have Sanu, but he's had two bad weeks, I wonder if that will continue or if he will do better against Texans.

Robinson is back from bye week and took West's place as second running back. I brought in Colts' Fleener as my tight end for the week, I'm hoping he will continue to produce as many points as he has the past two weeks. For him I dropped Dolphins defense, and I'm now trying to decide if I should start Patriots or Eagles. Projection-wise they are just one point from each other, so it seems I can go with either.

Another thing is that Eli Manning is said to be a good start against the Cowboys, since he's usually good against them. I wonder if that could be a good move. If Brady will do a lot of running games again against Lions on Sunday, it could be worth starting Eli. Though on the other hand, Eli had five interceptions last week. It will probably not be that bad this week but how much better is it going to be?

That's all for now, I will think about wide receiver, which quarterback and which defense I will start during the week.
